SHAC offers innovative financing options to enable income-qualified buyers to purchase a home.

Gap Financing: A no interest, no payment second mortgage, for the term of the 1st loan. Gap Financing helps bridge the gap between the cost of the home and what you can afford to pay.
*Gap loans are repaid with an equity share upon sale or refinance of the home. Contact SHAC for full details.

Down payment Assistance: SHAC works with community partners to offer various forms of down payment assistance.

Individual Development Accounts (IDA):  DOUBLE YOUR SAVINGS! Your monthly savings are matched by contributions from community donors. These savings then go toward down payment/closing costs. Clients wishing to start an IDA account must enroll in the homebuyer club.

Employer Assisted Housing: SHAC partners with employers to offer Employer Assisted Housing. Ask your employer if they participate.
